I know these aren’t AMT or pre-‘65, but I always thought it was weird that the custom wheels in the MPC ‘69 and ‘70 Chargers were Pontiac 8 lugs…

…and the ones in the ‘75 and ‘76 Dart Sports were basically Pontiac Honeycomb wheels…

Second issue and Hillbilly Hauler 34 Ford pickups use 64 Corvette hubcaps. *NM*

MPC did a little bit of that. The Car Craft Dream Rod wheels (T-Bird wires) later appeared in the Magnum GTII kit *NM*
Lots of little stuff mostly, sometimes you don't realize it until you see the parts in their "home setting"...
AMT's 1940 Ford Coupe has/had 66 Toronado wheel centres or hubcaps as custom parts. *NM*
