I don’t associate my cars with the Mopar brand , they acquired what remained of AMC in 1987, the Eagle wagon was still around but it was discontinued in 1988. Mopar as a corp has done nothing to support the original AMC brand other then pit their trademark to AMC branded

Prodclucts for , in my opinion, purely a licensing cash grab. Any repro parts I need for my car have to come from dedicated amc vendors or NOS stuff, again, there did nothing Mopar has been of any use or benefit with for that besides their inserting themselves in the licensing/trademarking elements , and certainly not in the interest of protecting or preserving the AMC brand . And don’t get me wrong, my local Mopar clubs are always very welcoming to the Amc‘s if we want to display our cars with them and are a bunch of really great guys, but I do not agree with my Amcs being considered “Mopars by marriage”, they were developed, sold and sunsetted well before Ma Mopar was in the picture .
