There was a Ford dealer in central Texas a few yearsd ago, that lost its franchise after Ford decided that the previous franchise owner 'lacked authority' to sell it... *LINK*

It was owned by a GM dealer who got served with a lawsuit from one former employee of that dealer
n, after that employee was named as the Ford store's general manager. For corporate said the store needed to be "in the black" financially, so the manager ran the store like he used to run the GM store. Details are online, but I don't understand how it all came down.

When the Ford store closed, it sill had a number of new Fords on the lot, which stayed there for a few months until Ford did something with them. I remember one of the cars was a white Mustang Shelby GT convertible that sat in the showroom...for months.

Link goes to the suit findings...or something.
