I started on Nispath about two and a half years ago and have been working on it off and on ever since. Before I started up on it a few days ago it had been on hiatus for about 9 months while I was working on other models.
Nispath is a curbside build based on the American Satco 1992 era Nissan Pathfinder kit with selected parts from the later Aoshima release.
The body is painted Duplicolor orange mist metallic over gray primer and overcoated with Tamiya clear gloss. It was polished out with Novus numbers 2 and 3. The front custom bumper is from the Aoshima release. License plates are from my stash. The front turn signals and side marker lights are painted with Tamiya clear yellow while the taillights are Tamiya clear red. The rear side and tailgate windows were painted black from the inside to simulate dark tinted glass. The moonroof was painted silver from the inside. I have the mirrors for it although they are not installed to keep them from getting knocked off in storage. The spare tire cover is matched to the interior color.
The interior is straight from the kit and was painted Duplicolor gold over gray primer and sprayed over with Tamiya clear flat. The base kit comes with the LHD dash which is important to me as I am not interested in RHD vehicles.
The chassis is stock and was painted flat black for simplicity. The wheels are from a Fujimi parts pack and are used with a set of AMT Firestone all-terrain tires. It was a lot of work to get the tires to fit the parts pack wheels as they were made for much smaller wheels.
I am pretty satisfied with Nispath even though it has several flaws as I met all of the original project goals plus a few that I added along the way. It is my 2nd completion for 2026. I hope to add some roof-mounted gear at some point in the future as soon as I find something fitting.

I want to thank everybody for taking the time to check out this final installment on Project Nispath and I hope that some of you like what I did with it.
