Been working on this rig off and on for the last 18 months. Took some time off after the cab was finished to do the basics of the body and aerial. The aerial has 5 sections including a platform at the rear. Each ladder has its own cross section and has to be built individually. So much left to do but it's a start.

The body sections are done for now. giving a sense of the long length of the truck. The ladder sections are just begun.

Each section has been printed out and taped to a piece of 0.020 plastic sheet stock. The section is cut out leaving the gussets. Strip stock is then glued to the thin sheet. Surprising how much stronger the section is after the strips are added.

Got these done so far. The printed section is ready for cutting. Two more complete sections (4 pieces) still to go. I'm not predicting when this will be done!
