WTB Clearview 2000 and some early '60s Palmer kits. Who has 'em? *NM*
I just used the last of my Clearview 2000 to make a replica of the MPC NASCAR GTO kit, using the body of a newer GTO kit. Sorry about that. I would like to know if it’s still in production, though, so I can get some more. *NM*

Fellow KKIM member, Gary Cartwright, was given a glue bombed Palmer Torino and challenged to "do something" with it... Oddly enough, I actually don't hate the results.... *NM* *PIC*
I don't hate it either, I've seen much worse...... *NM*
I collect Palmer kits
I only have one. A 1962 Lincoln kit. *NM*
I have a handful of them in my collection...With their odd proportions, some could be used as the starting point for a funny car body. *NM*
I have a Palmer Avanti kit. Thought I might build it as a Pro Mod racer, with just the body on a Revelll drag chassis.
If you ever decide to unload the Premier Champ pickups, I'd take them off your hands... Had one of those kits a while back, but let it go to buddy who collects Studebaker stuff. *NM*
I know a guy who builds them, making them match the box art more closely than possible straight out of the box *NM*
I used up my clearview 2000 on an MPC GTO Nascar, an original issue 1/16th scale Richard Petty Charger, an Ohio George Mustang gasser and the hood of a 37 Chevy gasser!
My can turned. Its candy root beer now *NM*
I had some Palmer kits, but I thought they were so awful that I dunked them in Clearview 2000. Now I can't find them! *NM*
Best reply EVER!! *NM*
Perhaps you should explain what Clearview does. There may be some young un's on the board now! *NM*
Thanks Bill.......made me laugh, smile & brought back great memories........thems was the days.......lol. *NM*
What is Clearview 2000 ? I'm completely clueless. I know nothing about it, *NM*
Back in the Scale Auto days, in the April issue they would do an April Fool's article. This one was a new product (Clearveiw 2000) that when sprayed on a model the plastic would become clear. LOTS of people fell for it. *NM*
I remember that article, as well as the letters from folks trying to find out where to purchase the product in the next issue...
Hey, David! Ya just spoiled all of the fun! 8^)) *NM*
IIRC they used a photo of a body from one of the classic kits with a clear body? *NM*
Correct. *NM*
