they all shared the same two piece chassis and basic engine/drivetrain. Different cylinder heads and valve covers were used to create the various engines. There were also different firewall adaptors, and rear bulkheads for each car, which allowed for the universal chassis

Not exactly the first world in accuracy or detail, but a brilliant way to quickly repurpose existing bodies and bring a new line of kits to market.
