Saw the new Isaac Ford kit at a LHS last week. If the body was of JoHan origin, then why does the kit offer MPC's 'generic' stock car chaais?

I have one of the old JoHan Torino stock cars, and it has a somewhat crude representation of a factory stock frame.

Not quite that interested in the R2 reissue, but...a couple of years or so ago, I bought a resin '72 Gran Torino kit (just forgot who did it, but the 'first name' is Missing, but it's not Missing Link). Haven't started it yet, but it calling out to be built.

- The MPC NASCAR Torino body is different than the Jo-Han body. *NM*
- The JoHan and AMT rebox are 100% different than the MPC kit.......KINDA...... *PIC*
  - Kool build! Funny how MPC got it right 50 years ago.......
    - Even Revell has missed a few in the modern era......
      - Yeah, There are enough bad kits to go around, but fixing some of the problems is part of the fun! *NM*
  - If you bash both the '72s and the S+H Torino you can get a pretty good replica depending on your inclination
