New build. And this time, it's NOT a MOPAR. It's a Tin Indian. .......... *PICS* .....

This is a 1972 GTO body that I converted into a 1971 Lemans using resin conversion parts to change the front end. The interior is from the 1972 GTO. The chassis, engine compartment and suspension are from the 1969 Hurst/Olds. The engine is from the Revell 1977-78 Trans Am. The decals are from STS.

I spent many, Many hours test fitting, cutting, sanding, bending, etc parts over and over and over. I've never put so much work into kit bashing to make a model. I don't know if it was worth it or not. I haven't decided yet. I have 7 more sets of the conversion parts to build a 1971 Lemans.

I painted the chassis red oxide primer and painted the Castillion Bronze color around the edges. The colors are so close, it's difficult to tell the difference in colors.
