Sanding stick question. I buy packs of sanding sticks with a range of 180-5000 grit. I mainly use the 400 stick and it wears out the soonest. I would like to buy a lot of 400 sticks. Are sanding grit numbers universal? If I bought a pack of 400, will they be the same no.....
matter what brand I buy? Will the 400 grit from any manufacturer be the same as the 400 grit that I buy in the 180-5000 grit pack that I buy now? I don't want to keep buying the entire pack when I just need the 400 grit the most often. Please let me know. Thanks.
