I'm going to put clear on it to see how bad it is. I really like the color combo. *NM*

It’s hard to tell in the picture, how badly is the crinkling? Could you not do a couple of clear coats and then polish it all out and hide the crinkling *NM*

What might have been! PIC Or may still be. The gunmetal crinkled and I now have to decide if I just finish it or strip the paint. If I strip it, I am not going to tape off the coves again. I will just go for a single color and I used the last of the gunmetal. So ?
I would probably go ahead and strip and repaint it.... Honestly though, I would also encourage you to mask and paint the coves again as well...
I know but l am just to lazy to tape it again. I'll clear it and hopefully it will look good enough. *NM*

Agreed, worse that can happen is that you have to strip it. Understand your concern about masking, what if you just did some rub and buff work on the cove before clearing it? Might look really good when the clear hits it *NM*
The crazing is on the gunmetal. The coves actually look good. *NM*
