...and those were offered in 1969 only. The 1970 Fast Pack kits (GTO and Grand Prix) were all styrene including the Hot Wheels style tires. I have a GTO, it is molded in red. I don't know what color the Grand Prix was molded in.
There were two 1970 GTO tools; parts like the rear bumper and glass are marked #1 or #2 on the back side or another inconspicuous place. There were 1970 GTO promos, there was a "contest promo" in red only with license plate detail on the rear bumper, an annual kit (hardtop only, but I believe a convertible was announced), and a funny car. One tool got updated to 1971 trim, the other got reworked into the dirt track car. Its interior turned up later in the Ertl '70 GTO which was backdated from the '72 (and later changed back to '72 spec).

The Host has an MPC Dyno Racer Corvette in the built kit section.....
- It was a failed gravity track racing series. Probably one of those "seemed like a good idea at the time" things. *NM*
- MPC liked to use bodies as many times as possible, as body tooling cost a lot. They tried the idea again in 1970 ("Fast Pack") without the cast metal chassis *NM*
  - A fragementation kit - put all that inertia into a styrene body and you have a recipe for a very long face on a 10-year-old *NM*
    - Was it molded from a more resilient mix of plastic? My older brother had one when we were kids and the only thing I remember was the front bumper beak getting pushed in a bit. Maybe my memory is not so accurate, but I don’t recall the body breaking at all. *NM*

        I seem to recall that the plastic felt different, less brittle and more robust (?) than a regular model kit. So that would make sense.
        
        I'd imagine the numerous alterations to MPC tooling over the years is a considerable source of migraines to the folks over at Lionel/Round 2 *NM*
