To get an idea of how an IPMS style model show views cars & automotive subjects here in Oz if the term "Civilian Vehicles" is used then I have a pretty good idea of the shows judging slant....not always true but usually a good indication.... unfortuneately. *NM*

- Hi Scott, to the best of my knowlwdge cars are kind of a newer subject in IPMS contests but they are getting bigger all the time. I believe IPMS shows were primarily started for modelers of non-automotive subjects but fortunately that is not the case anymore...
- Most have dedicated model car judges now. In the past that wasn't always the case......

- Scott, The past few years at the IPMS contest in Liebanon IN, close to half the entries have been in the automotive classes.They have actively sought juidges who are auto modelers. *NM*
