As a kid, I remebered seeing this one at the local Kresge in about '74 and thinking... did they even RACE these?

When it was re-released, I managed to snag one that was opened up as a donor for both a promo radio car, and one of the very few MLRC '88 coupes - with the idea of using the Buck Baker decals, long story, maybe we get back to it again some day.

Anyway....comes the enforced COVID freakout period and I suddenly have time on my hands looking for something to do... grabbed this off the shelf and got to work.

Built as a curbsider, Tamiya Racing White and Bright Red, a whole MESS of decals (my favorite part) and a jazzed up interior which is not welll shown here, maybe I'll get around to it one of these days.
