Spotlight Hobbies

The first few in the series - Galaxie, especially - were quite good.
In Response To: AMT Modified late model....... ()

I'v rambled about how AMT must have had extrordinary access to Ford in the '63-'65 time frame, given the impressive level of detail and accuracy of their annual kits then in the racing versions and Custom Car Caravan - like options.

Adusting stance, rubber and wheels gets you VERY close to the mark with some of these, and bashing can help you zero in on any years/makes that were not included in the series.

Will post pix of a hardbody slot car or two built from AMT late models, lots of fun to build and decal them up.

FWIW, the Moby 300 CI 6-cylinders would make the Fairlane and/or similar year Falcon-Comet interesting hobby stockers.
