Coming from Round 2 from New York's Toy Fair *NM* *LINK*
The '55 is near-perfect for an AG or 2LB replica, and getting the Home Alone van, the BTTF pickup, and the Bluesmobile (i.e. full-size 70s Mopar police car)....there's a lot to be really excited about here! *NM*
TLB/AG '55 - is this the end of the stock BelAir sedan tool? Or is it a newly tooled 'clone' body?
I'm sure it's a clone body. They could stand to clip that chin though. *NM*
Probably not a big deal for most of the people here, but that 1/25 Hot Wheels Twin Mill makes my day. *NM*
Lots of neat stuff, the Tempest will be cool, hope they do a hart top version, the Blues Brother car is really interesting too....as well as the B model Mack! *NM*
Love the '63 Lemans and the B61 Mack. *NM*

Ditto! *NM*
We are in the 2nd Golden Age of kits.....
I am so looking forward to the B-Mack... Also the 55 Chevy gasser, the A100 van, the Twin Mill, and believe it or not, the UFO Shadow mobile.... I have very fond memories of staying up late, Saturday nights, and watching that show with Dad.
UFO is on Prime, Marty, if you can get that service. *NM*
Did anyone see the Blues Mobile? Holy cow, they finally did it! *NM*
Years ago (more than ten?!?), the Bluesmobile was my submission to this Board's "kit proposal" poll (forgot what it was 'officially' called, or who even was in 'charge' of doing it.
Dont you all think its too late? The movie came out in 1980. *NM*
The movie is ephemeral - it's on streaming/cable pretty much all the time, along with about a dozen other films *NM*
It's now considered a "classic", just like 'Bullitt', 'Smokey and the Bandit', and several others.
And Home Alone came out in 1990, Star Trek and Batman in 1966, UFO in 1970, Star Wars in 1977.. Not really sure what your point is. *NM*
Young people on the phone screen are not driving what Round 2 are kitting out. Old farts are the primary customer of the Auto side of the business . I watch the Blues Bros at least yearly , I own a copy on DVD. *NM*
Exactly. This is a case where Round 2 knows exactly who their target market is. FWIW, I also have it on DVD… LOL *NM*
Fast and Furious didn't exactly set the.model kit world on fire *NM*
Too little, too late. The 80s and 90s generation were already sold out on video games and the time to have started tooling good domestic kits (read: big box available) of the Euro and Asian cars they wanted 1:1s of would have been years earlier *NM*
I wouldn't go all-in on that...both AMT and Revell issued kits connected with those movies, many of which were created because of them *NM*
That franchise has been grinding sequels for a generation
Hardly. They'll figure out it should have been sooner *NM*
I'm wondering if they will do a 3-in-1 kit. Bluesmobile, police car and factory stock. Seems like a no brainer to me. *NM*
Doesn’t seem like there would be a huge investment in doing so. I hope they do it. *NM*
They may do other versions, but I'd bet each will be self-contained and not have any extra parts *NM*
Amen! *NM*
