I actually did have a Facebook account, for a few weeks, about fifteen years ago. Within the first couple of days I received "friend" requests from several people who I had gone to school with.... These were people who wouldn't give me the time of day twenty years earlier, so why should I want to communicate with them, ever? No thanks.

Additionally, I don't care for the spying capabilities it offers.... As an example, a hard working young man in the department where I was lead person, was called into the front office and given termination papers, because he had complained about some of the production methods and equipment on his Facebook page.

It's a pity that some people choose to only offer their products through FB... It seems that they leave a lot of money on the table by doing so.
