I'm sure you could, just a fine, straight drill and you're good to go! They DO look better even without the hinge pin though. *NM*
Tried it--need #84 bit (or smaller)--bit snaps off in hinge--extremely difficult to drill straight 3 dimensionally (for me, anyway)--won't improve your language. Conclusion: "Fools rush in," Jim... *NM*
