THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THESE IS ONLY ABOUT 5 INCHES LONG. The pictures show the spring between the rubber coated handles that pivots up to the opposite handle to keep them spread until you squeeze them together. When viewed from the side angle you can see the blades curve down to a point with a shallow arc on the underside so it is ideal for snipping sprue. The first 3 pictures are like mine and are a CVS labeled brand. The 4th is one labled EQUATE and is slightly cheaper but the handles are not as good a design. If you do not have a CVS pharmacy store they are available online, Walmart has a similar almost identical item. Or just do a search for Toenail Nippers but some may not be quite as ideal for sprue clipping. See the 4 pics below.
