My wife and I owned a 56 Mercury for about 7 years. I think that car would hold 8 people inside easily LOL *NM*
I drove home from the dragstrip (Cordova) with 13 people in my 56 two door hardtop one evening..
Did the math before I read this and pictured: driver, two to your right in the seat and two in the laps, back seat: 4 in the seat and 4 in the laps. May not have been too comfortable but probably p r e t t y interesting. ;^) *NM*
It was actually a lot of fun. I mean we were mostly just a bunch of highschool kids.... A couple of the guys were with their girlfriends and there a couple of younger kids in (11-12 years old), so it's not like it was a car full of grown adults males... *NM*
