• AMT's Mach Won...is this an old AMT kit or does it owe its linage to the Polar Lights Gas Ronda Mustang F/c of 20 yrs ago?....the M/W appears to have the same grille choices & SOHC that the P/L kit had? *NM*
  • Old AMT kit from 69/70. *NM*
    • Primary difference is that AMT removed the f/r roll pans from the chassis plate and added them to the parts tree
      • Does the '71-3 Mustang have a longer wheelbase than the '69-70, and if so, do the kits reflect the change?
        • '70 was 108", '71 was 109". Not enough to worry about in scale, even for a promo, back then *NM*
        • Doubt it - as Mark notes it is an eyelash in scale
      • If it's a straight up reissue, it doesn't look like it was included... *NM* *PIC*
        • One thing I missed - the instructions show a body that has much more of a funny car look to it
