They do the current (LOL) Express/Savana van with the parts from the GMT 400 pickup, apparently still common and easily accessed through their standard channels.

Didn't ask about the vintage '70's vans, but I would assume they would use the same running gear as the pickups.

FWIW, GM did offer and AWD Savana/Express for a few years, but it was not so much an off-road rig as a foul-weather / unimproved road solution for service industries.
