I'm in need of a favor. If anyone on here lives near Valcourt, Quebec maybe you could send me an email. I'm seeking information from the Bombardier Museum. I'm somewhat helpless since I can't write or read French. If you can please email me. Thanks *NM*

I’m nowhere near there, and my French skills are atrocious, but I have successfully used google translate for such communications. Write in English, let google translate to French, copy/paste to an email, and presto! Communication in French!
I do all that. Thought I'd see if anyone lived near there who'd be willing to go there to get me some details on a machine I'd like to scale. *NM*
Ah... figured you probably knew that already, but thought I'd toss it out anyhow. Best of luck. BTW, which piece of equiprment are you looking to build? Just curious. *NM*
Thought you'd never ask. Back in 1965-66 I worked for a Paper Mill thinning trees in forest. We had a Bombardier Muskeg Carrier H.D.W. to haul cut pulp. They're rare (70 built between 1958-1964). Been wanting to create one as long as I can remember. .......PICS INSIDE
That is so cool!!! Please post pics when you get into your project! My first recollection of Bombardier was from the sidewalk plows they used to use in my city when I was a kid. I always thought they were the coolest thing. *PIC*
merci beaucoup *NM*
I only know enough French to get slapped by women... *NM*
Well, there's value in that, even if only entertainment value for your buddies! :D
A LOOOONNNNGGGG time ago my dad (only went through 9th grade) tried to communicate with a Quebec resident near Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré to get a flat tire fixed. *NM*
The more rural areas tended to be more francophone only, and less amenable to english speakers. I'm sure it was a challenge for your dad! *NM*
