I'll put my memory to the test here and offer a couple of guesses.
The picture of Prudhomme is with what I believe is the shot lived Wedge car,
The twin engine Parris Brothers Rear engine T/G car is a nice catch, it was the last year for top gas, I'm not sure there was another RE Top Gas car. Pretty sure that one is still around, Pretty sure Marty has a couple of shots of it at Cordova.
The mis matched Hemi's (the 426 and the 392) is pretty unusual as well, that might have been the Freight train. It is better kown for it's twin small blocks but it was converted to twin Hemis in 71. But the few color pictures I've seen of the car in 71 the car was black, so I'm not at all sure on that one.
The RE top fuel car immediately after the Sox and Martin pit pictures is Carl Olson. In the Kuhl and Olson car. The car was later replaced with the Yellow "Da Revell Good Guys" car. Olson has said that Revell painted the car and that Both Mike Kuhl and Olson hated it. Apparently they had no input in the finished product.
The roller starter was a product of future Division 3 Competition Director Jay Hollinger 's father and a former neighbor of mine the late Rex Crenshaw. Jays Uncle.
The Ramcharger FC is most likely the one driven by Leroy Goldstein, the blurry funny car doing the burnout looks to be Roland Leongs Hawaiian, (anyones guess who was the driver at 71 Nationals) the other one is Mickey Thompson's Pinto driven by Dale Pulde. Pulde knocked the blower off of it ,and pretty much trashed the Pinto body.
The A/Gas Challenger is of course Fred Hurst and was one of those new fangled" tube cars" that were blamed for the death of the gasser class.
That twin 6 banger looks familiar, I can't find info on it , but the paint job looks like the Enrique and Adams car. But that's nothing more than a guess.
You can reach out to Pat Burgis at NHRA, he's usually very helpful on most of the request I've made of him any way.
Those are fun pictures thanks for sharing.
