  • Only thing really different is the bed cap. Same F-350 bed, try as they always did to make it look like an F-100 in the artwork *NM*
    • They got me with the art - really wanted the -150
      • Got one years ago when Kmart had the yearly clearance. Built it then. Trashed it sometime later, but I have at least one or two of the reissues.
        • Box says 460, engine is a 360 (last FE) *NM*
          • To go a teensy bit further down that rabbit hole, with the 4bbl carb it would be the optional 390 4V, only available in '75/'76 and the only 4bbl FE in the trucks between '65 and '77. 360 and 390 are identical looking otherwise. *NM*
      • I have one of Kris' beds that I'll be using for a replica of our old '78 round headlamp F-150 4x4 with 300 six/4 speed. *NM*
        • Fireball resin has a nice round headlight grill for the '78. *NM* *PIC*
          • It's only for the Wild Hoss Bronco and the F-150 tool is quite different and the front grille doesn't interchange. Doesn't mean it can't be done. *NM*

            • Not sure what the huge issue is, but even with stylistic differences the grills aren't hard to interchange... *PIC*
  • That was one of my first models my dad helped me build as an adolescent. He sprayed it Testors Competition Orange and I monkeyed around with that thing a for a while until it was parted out out, modifed or otherwise destroyed. I bought another a few years ago....
  • The reason I asked the question is I'm looking for one of the bed covers. That was an optional cover (I had a 1:1) sold by Ford dealers. I wish someone would cast or print one. That way I could get a couple. Would go well with the Moebius Ford pickups. *NM*
