The accuracy issue with the Revell Ranchero is that they kept the B pillar and front door scribings where they were on the 4 door wagon rather than the 2 door and made the C pillar to the correct proportions relative to the door which in turn made the cab too short and bed too long.

'57-8 Ford Fairlanes and junior Edsels did have a longer wheelbase (118"), but even the Edsel wagon used the shorter 116" Ford wagon body
