That’s a ‘60 El Camino body, isn’t it? I noticed the Bel Air side trim, which is different from the Nomad. *NM*

Interesting they are calling it a Nomad..should sell a bunch like the reissued Nova wagon. *NM* *PIC*
They are calling it a Nomad because Chevy called the 1:1 "Nomad." That was the model name, like Bel Air, Impala, Biscayne, etc. *NM*
But the 1st one was called a chevy wagon, what makes this one a Nomad? asking for a friend.. *NM*
Notice on boxart you posted it's described as Nomad Wagon. *NM*

I don't know some 9f the specifics, but here's what I remember (more inside)
Kingswood had the Bel Air interior, not Impala. Only the Nomad had that. Also, the Kingswood was a 9 passenger, Nomad was 6. The third seat was only available in the Kingswood. *NM*
Look closer - just below the kid and above the "60." The original box calls it a "4 door Nomad" *NM*
Looking forward to getting the Nomad & Barracuda. *NM*
I’ll definitely pick up a couple or four of these when they hit the shelves. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that an improved “clone” of the SMP ‘60 ElCamino is in the works as well… *NM*

Yes, an original SMP or AMT, whichever it was at that point in time. The bumpers are not broken and have Modelhaus taillights and wheels w/ caps for it if I go completely stock, but haven't decided yet. *NM*
It is looking great. I hope you post pics when it’s finished! :) *NM*
Very clean part transplant! *NM*
Chevrolet started calling their top of the line 4 door station wagons Nomad in 1958. *NM*
Yes, came very close to buying a '58 Nomad at an auction in Palm Springs many years ago. Very nice car. *NM*
I have really come to appreciate all ‘58 - ‘60 GMs. The wagons are especially nice IMHO. *NM*
