I have had great luck with this putty for many years, around 5 bucks a tube. *NM* *PIC*

One-part spot putty is essentially extremely unthinned lacquer primer *NM*
I used it on this 50 Ford about 15 years ago, still good.
That's a cool build. Must weigh about 3lbs with all the putty in it! *NM*
