Re: Question for the board.... After seeing all these wonderful 3D builds ( Scott, Steve-o and the rest) I'm thinking it's time for me to dip my toe into the 3D ocean.....

There are some nice kits being offered in the usual places, I'll not list them in difference to the host, Some are more expensive than others. You'll want to find something that has a smooth surface. One printer offers bodies in 2 different price ranges depending on the finish.

You might want to reach out to a couple guys on here who have built them. Scott Liggett and Ken Kitchen come to mind.

I've purchased a few different 3D printed parts that help with the learning curve. They are a lot like resin kits, however the fit and finish seem far superior to most of the resin bodies I have in my collection.

Youtube is a good place to explore for different examples as well.
