Fresh off of the bench. Demon Sizzler. ............ *PICS* .....
Looks great! *NM*
Nice rendition of a rare option package. *NM*
Had no idea you could get a "Demon" with an inline 6. Good job on the replica! *NM*
I'd say most Darts/Demons had sixes in them. *NM*
Really nice *NM*
Nice build. The six looks like a natural under the hood. *NM*
Now, that is gorgeous! Except for the stripe package, that's just about how all the Demons came out of the factory in the '70s. *NM*
Cool yet hot! *NM*
Wow, that looks real, other than the engine bay, the outside shots look like a real car! Beautiful build, and we all know it's a model, so the engine bay still looks great for a model! *NM*
Holy cow what great executed build of a rare car. *NM*
Nice work Scott! *NM*
How cool is that!! *NM*
Re: Fresh off of the bench. Demon Sizzler. .......weren't you just complaining about that kit a few days ago?! : ) Nice work Scott. You're a better man than me..... I get one I don't like it goes back in the box or to the junk yard! *NM*
Yes, that was me complaining. My complaints are of the engine itself and the chassis and suspension. They're so generic looking. But the body is beautiful and that's what really counts, so I'm going to keep on building them. *NM*
I'm just kidding, I really didn't see it as anything more than expressing your opinion. *NM*
I know you were kidding. I was just explaining for anyone else reading the comments. *NM*
Don’t forget the B-pillar window trim. It should be curved, not flat. If I ever build one, I would have to fix that, at least. *NM*
For me, that’s a very minor quibble, almost not noticeable. Keep in mind that if you add curvature to the profile of that “pillar”, it would have to match the curvature of the quarter glass to look right, as they are attached on the real car. Personally, I wouldn’t
This has nothing to do with Scott's clean build, but "Sizzler" & slant 6 seems counter intuitive to me... *NM*
Nice job! Looks good all around. *NM*
Beautiful! *NM*
WOW... That turned out great!!! Glad I could (in a small way) help you out. 😉 *NM*
Thank you Marty. And you helped out in a HUGE way. Coming up in the future will be a slant 6 1971 Duster Twister. I already have the decals that I had made and I just ordered the paint that I'm going to use. *NM*
Another one to look forward to! You have such neat ideas, Scott! Either that, or we just both have the same taste in cars! :) *NM*
Re:Great looking build! *NM*
Beautiful build! Where did you source the hood decals? *NM*
I went to STS decals house with measurements for the black hood patch, cowl stripe and resized "Sizzler" name. I also took them the original kit side stripes and taillight panel decal and had them make copies because the kit supplied decals are way too thick. *NM*
Thanks for sharing! *NM*
Yours looks great Scott! Did you make the decals? *NM*
Thank you. I had the decals made by STS. They have everything on file if you want some. Just mention my name. *NM*
