The new Blazer kit. Let me start off by saying I know nothing about Blazers. I wanted to build this new kit from Revell and see how it compared to their '71 Mustang kit. It's just as good as the Mustang. I followed the directions...mostly. I installed the windows after (not before) I put the body/chassis/motor together. Two reasons. I can be a bit ham handed at times and was worried that flexing the body over the chassis would pop a window out. Also since you install the windows from the outside I could do that. I did have a few boo boo's. I should have spent a little more time on getting the windows to fit better. I suggest you look at installing all the parts on the firewall before that gets glued in. Parts are a tight fit and I think it would be easier. I pretty much followed the painting directions but not 100%. Just tried to give it more visual interest. Paint is all Tamiya except for the grill and windshield wipers. Those are Revell Chrome spray. There are some extra parts in the kit so we know another kit is coming. Comments welcome.
