The Chevy is cool, but fat fenders refers to the era begining around 1935, when cars (and trucks) moved away from the "flat" fenders of the cars from the teens to the early 30's, to the more bulbous fenders of the mid 30's and 40's...

They came in the kit. This is a box stock build. This was issued in 1973 by Monogram. *NM*
