• One of my (way too many) current projects is a Monogram '55 Panel Truck. What is the transmission in this kit? It appears to be maybe a C4 which I only think because the engine appears to be a 289 from a Shelby judging by the oil pan. *NM*
  • C-4. Ford used other automatics, but when a rodder uses a small-block Ford with an automatic, it's nearly always a C-4 *NM*
    • Newer builds will use an AOD, but the Monogram kit dates back nearly fifty years *NM*
