I don't see how it would be an issue to cut down the kit glass or even use lexan since all of the windows are flat? *NM*
I wonder where I could source the clear plastic used in the Revell Anglia or Henry J? *NM*
I've been known to use plastic that I salvaged from blister packs used on everyday stuff from our weekly grocery shopping. *NM*
Boxes of holiday cards (often plentiful at this time of year) often have clear plastic covers. That's what I often use. *NM*
And I often use the word often!! *NM*
I've never seen any plastic packaging that wasn't all scratched up. *NM*
Lots of flat sources out there. If you need a windshield or rear glass with some arc to it, Listerine 1 L or 500 mL are clear and a little stiffer with some segments that might work well. Just need to carefully select good ones when buying. *NM*
Business shirts used to come in rectangular boxes with a clear plastic lid, enough clear sheet for a dozen kit windows, also try the local hardware store as thick clear sheet used for around swimming pools used to be available, coloured mylar(?) from print shops can work too *NM*
Or, failing any of these other sources, Evergreen clear sheet from the LHS. *NM*
Transparent Vinyl report covers, CVS has them for less than a buck a piece, and available in many tints - red, blue, yellow and of course, clear
