Paper print going the way of the dodo *NM*
Again, I remember hearing the same thing about records 25 years ago.... Meanwhile, music on vinyl is currently making a huge comeback... Give it a generation and people will come to appreciate the tangibility of print media again.. *NM*
Agreed Marty. While I love the accessibility of digital media, I definitely prefer being able to hold what I'm reading, whether it be a magazine, book or the instruction sheet! *NM*
Another canary in the coal mine...
Yes on both points. The auto industry ain't what it used to be (IMHO much of the excitement is gone with a few exceptions).
That's very disappointing. I've been a subscriber since day one. I do think it lost a good deal of its special sauce when the prior editor Richard Lentinello (sp?) left to create his own mag Crankshaft a few years ago. That mag is also changing to a twice-yearly "book" form *NM*
I had a subscription to HCC for many years, but they quit sending it a while back.
I used to subscribe to Speical Interest Autos many years ago. *NM*
We are apperaently too few who like to read physical magazines nowadays and they dro like flies and fewer and fewer publications are left. I don't like that as I prefer to read actual magazines. *NM*
Just saw that Hemmjngs Muscle Machines will also be ending , says March 2025, bummed as they carried a lot of great content including AMC stuff *NM*
Oh, man, really?! Damn... *NM*
