Dunno about the decals or 1/48 pete but I'd think a 1/48 Allison would be available for the 1/48 aircraft kits, ie, early P51,P39, P38 ....I'll see what I can find & get back. *NM*
Found a couple listed on epay, all to suit aircraft kits. *NM*
For the decals, you could always try STS. They do custom work, so I'm sure they could help you out if you can't find what you're looking for. *NM*
The White tanker kits have been issued several times with different graphics. Its current version includes Sinclar decals IIRC. Model railroad decal companies offer graphics that might be useful...
Some research might be in order. A quick search shows that the MOBIL decal graphics offered by Microscale differ from those included in one of the issues of the Revell kits. *NM*
Atlantis shows two different liveries of the White/Fruehauf tanker kit currently avsailable on their web site....
