So, riddle me this: How many '40 Ford Coupe kits were there? Two? Three?
AMT, MPC (snap kit), Lindberg (ex- PMC Palmer) & Revell. *NM*
It should be noted that the MPC snapper and the Palmer/Lindberg kits both appear to be heavily cribbed from the venerable AMT kit *NM*
As an aside to this question, I've the original Monogram Pro Modeller 40 Convert kit....apart from the body shell, grille & 40 Standard areas, how similar are the 2 kits...which of the 40 Standard kits has the most hotrod parts? *NM*
And has Revell ever issued a Deluxe 40 Coupe kit? kit *NM*
No Deluxe coupe from Revell. Maybe they left that undone in order to sell a few more convertible kits for the parts *NM*
The majority of the tooling is shared between the two kits, and thus most parts are identical. However the Pro Modeler issue of the Convertible is the only issue to include optional parts for both the Stock and Hot Rod version *NM*
Does anyone have a pic of the Palmer packaging? And was this released within the last several years as a Lindberg? *NM*
The Palmer (PSM) version was never released. I have heard that they also cribbed the AMT '36 Ford, but never finished it *NM*

The Lindberg issue in pink plastic was the first one *NM*
