    • That one looks like a "tribute" or modern design (or at least updated). The original one was a gas dragster, the only mid-engine twin I can recall. Top Gas Eliminator was abolished not long after it appeared. Still a cool looking dragster! *NM*
      • Actually that is the original 1971 Paris Family twin Hemi car, from Rockford (IL).... It has had safety updates, so that it's legal to make high speed exhibition passes at nostalgia events (sometime with a bit of nitro in the tank)

    • Norman Rockwell museum in Stockbridge, MA has a display of artwork from Mad through 10/27; they don't have that one, but lots of other original cover art *NM*
      • Personally, I was never a big fan of MAD (very much preferring CarToons), but when I spotted the cover on this copy at a little antique shop, I just had to have it! *NM*
