can you safely use Polly ELO on clear plastic/glass? *NM*
I had a bad experience, but your results may vary - test a scrap first! *NM*
In my experience it can lightly etch the glass. Since you'll polish out the etching anyway, I'd recommend just polishing off the paint (I've done it). I use Novus #2. Go slow so you won't crack the glass (especially if it's vintage). *NM*
I would also back the other side with a quality masking tape to help strengthen the window. *NM*
I agree, it's safe, but not 100% safe. *NM*
Thanks guys, think I'll try other methods than the ELO then. *NM*
Cannot comment on the ELO but the purple pond has never damaged or etched any clear plastic !! *NM*

Re: Me four. Interestingly, "Jeff Lynne's ELO" is currently on tour. Hit the D/FW area last week or so. *NM* *LINK*
