how many '60s cars will have survived that far out into the future. They weren't built to last that long. Maintaining and running them in the far future may become complicated.
As far as Teslas go, who knows? Why the fixation on Tesla? As it is now, people are collecting electric vehicles of all kinds. A few have even gotten GM's deactivated EV1 cars running despite reportedly being asked not to attempt to do so. Well-over-a-hundred-year-old electrics are still whirring around. I recall a Hemmings Motor News blog article speculating that EVs will become popular among the younger generation collectors, along with minvans and such. As EVs become more integrated into society, the hobby will reflect that, IMHO.
The hobby will continue to evolve.
(I'm not picking on Terry's lovely wagon. I like seeing it posted from time to time.)
