From the first show in the early 1980s to the last, each show has a special attraction...the people I met. The model cars were the initial attraction but after meeting so many great people, I was hooked, still am :) As a member of Group 25 Model Car Builders Club, we were thrilled to be part of the NNL Nationals with our fictional Chrysler dealership and later, our working 4 x 8 25th scale slot track oval (collectors hated to see us racing vintage models). There was never a bad weekend, unless we ran out of money, but we never ran out of enthusiasm.

The Lucas County Fairgrounds hosted the NNL Nationals for many years...you could not find a parking space after 8AM and the line-up wound around the building :)
