  • I agree to some extent with Brian. When I was growing up, you knew a Chevy, you knew a Ford or you knew a Plymouth by their grills, their taillights. Today to me they all look like jelly beans and unless I can read the badge I can't tell one from the other. *NM*

  • Pretty standard argument from edwardian times,once car design & styles became standardised,there has been standouts over the years,ie Caddy fins,Ponch centre chrome strip,Buick portholes,Bugatti oval radiator,but car design has always gone in cycles,designers copy each other *NM*

        • Headlights are fascinating. Through the 1930s when streamlining became popular headlight lenses took on all sorts of interesting shapes. When the standardized sealed beams came into fashion, there was only so much you could do with them. Now were back to unusual shapes. *NM*
