        • I'd bet on a Chevy...if it were a Hemi, the rocker covers would be out in the breeze instead of under the body *NM*
        • My guess would be BBC as the hood sides are not bubbled out for Hemi valve cover clearance....but that is just a guess. *NM*

      • BTW, the website says it was originally posted in 1983? I recall at that time I thought that the V6 would be the performance engine of the future. Other than the Buick GN, it never seemed to really play out that way, though. *NM*
        • Re: BTW, Buddy ingersoll "built"a Pro Stock Buick Regal with a turbo V6. NHRA didn't let him run in Pro Stock, but IIRC, the IHRA let him run. *LINK* *PIC*

    • There were actually two of those Darts. Garlits still has the second one in his museum. Another team built a similar Barracuda bodied car (but left the roof on that one) *NM*
