IPMS Contest in Arlington, TX today. One PIC and a link. Not a good auto turnout but I tried to get all the cars and most of the other models. Alot of them are multiple models in one picture but hopefuflly you will enjoy. *LINK*

I knew that was from a movie but l couldn't remember which on. I assume it's a kit otherwise a great job of scratchbuilding. *NM*
Some questions about two of the smaller military boats - especially if you were in 'Nam. *2 PICS*
In looking over my post I want to make it clear, I recognize the first as a kit for a boat that was in 'Nam, NOT that I recognise it by having been in 'Nam to see it. *NM*

The first one is definitely an accurate PPR. My dad had the civilian version of the same boat, built by Uniflite. His had twin 440 c.i. Chrysler Marine engines in it, while the Navy used diesels. It was supposedly "unsinkable" due to the fiberglas and foam construction. I'm

Revell (or somebody) did a version of the Swift Boat as well. *NM*
Revell and Tamiya both made fairly accurate models of the PBR, which is 31'. The "Swift Boat" your talking about is around 50'. Neither one looks anything like the photo in question. *NM*
As one of the judges at that contest, we called it the "not the 'pibber' bost"!
With that hint I was able to find that kit, which was 1-72 and 1-48. It also let me find the mystery boat, South Vietnam navy RAG patrol boat kit picture. Still not certain of just how it was operated, though. *NM*
