Besides the AMT Caterpillar D8H bulldozer, does AMT (or any other company) make any other heavy equipment kits (1/24 or 1/25)? *NM*

Revell Germany made a kit of a huge open cut coal dragline in 1/200 or so, also Aoshima & another Japanese co. has done some including backhoes & frontend loaders etc but I think they are 1/32nd, AMT announced a 1/25 excavator & it was pictured in its catalog but never made. *NM*
Back in the last century Preiser did a 1/24 IHC Payloader in styrene...PIC INSIDE
Neat, that would be great to see in plastic, who were that company?. *NM*
Andy, the company is Preiser. Mostly LGB train accessories. I have the Payloader pictured but of course I can't locate it in my "STUFF". *NM*
Scale Collectibles makes a 3D printed kit of a Cat D-7 in 1/25 scale. *NM*
I think Ertl made a big IH dump truck. *NM*

I still think that little roller is just too cool!!! *NM*
Making Tracks
A terrific comparison with the kit "tracks", congrats on your patience and accurate replica pieces. They look much nore realistic. *NM*
For those with deep pockets, Classic Construction Models offers vintage subjects, made of brass. *LINK* *PIC*
Here's a HOLT tractor, with howitzer! *NM* *LINK* *PIC*
Doepke offered this Cedar Rapids rock crusher as a sort of promo model. *NM* *LINK* *PIC*
Cruver offered A D-7 in plastic. Reuhl later took over this product line, then offered their own diecast version in 1950. Production of Reuhl CAT toys ceased with the expiration of the license. Some of these diecasts were later reissued by ERTL. *NM* *LINK* *PIC*
NZG and Gescha/Conrad offered diecast forklifts and other things in 1:25. *NM*
I built a hydraulic track excavator about 45-50 years ago, I think it was 1/24th or 1/25th scale and it could have been a Hitachi or something like that as it was molded in orange...but I don't remember wich company did it and I threw it away a long time ago unfortunately. *NM*
There have been a number of 1/25 diecasts over the years. Being somewhat a scale "bigot" I have a few....2 EXAMPLES INSIDE
Aren't those (diecast) kind of expen$ive? *NM*
I'll answer this way. Everything is expensive. Nowadays most modeling items cost me twice what they did 25 years ago. The first AMT '34 Ford Pickup I ever bought was $1.49? Now the SAME TOOLING is $33.00 + or -. Would you consider that expensive? *NM*
I sent you an email. *NM*
I don’t think it’s a matter of being a scale bigot, it’s just what some people prefer in their collection. For me, I have other scales too, but mostly with model car kits I like 1/25th. There is nothing wrong with that. *NM*
I have the CAT Scraper that they did in 1/25......HUGE! *NM*
