• Which gets used more today, 40 foot trailers (like AMT) or 53 foot trailers (like Moebius)? *PICS*
  • Isn't the AMT 40' trailer from the 1970's, whereas the 53' is a much newer trailer, I'd think in the real world the longer one with greater capacity would be the more common, here in oz & think 48' is the limit. *NM*
    • Most of those I see on the roads these days are 53' but there are still many 40s in use. *NM*

  • Back in the day (1970s), each of the 50 states set their own length maximums. Of course, that was also in the heyday of COE trucks.
