Yours in the different color probably came out of one of the many two or three car sets that Revell was doing around the same time *NM*

AFAIK, because the hood tool was modified to include those headlight pods the reissue I built # 4162 from 1999 has a very flimsy resin hood included by Revell., kit is molded in white. *NM*
Yeah, I had one of those too. Never built it. *NM*
I believe the issue after that had a newly tooled styrene hood. I've got the one with the resin hood, but was able to scare up an original piece to use instead *NM*
