Scout Jamboree *PIX*
Very cool....you must hoard Scout models like Tim hoards Peterbilt models! *NM*
LOL, I had a bunch on the shelf that I bought when they were on clearance 25 years ago. I had no idea how to build them. I actually had to buy a couple to finish the Terra and Traveler. *NM*
Hah! Thought you meant a real Scout Jamboree. I attended the National Jamboree in California in 1953! *NM*
Whereabouts in CA? *NM*
Irvine Ranch just outside Santa Ana *NM*
OK thanks. That was when California was truly golden. Now it's bronze....or maybe tin. *NM*
There are several references to it on line if you want to check it out. 51,000+ American Boy Scouts as well as many other nations were represented. *NM*
Nice gathering of Scouts..... Can a representative from the Midwest join in the fun at this little Jamboree??? 😎 *PIC*
Ooh! I like that. That's a nice counterpoint to this one *NM* *PIC*

That's beautiful. Here's the kit you need to start with *NM* *PIC*
Thanks, yeah I’d picked up an original issue ($$) years ago to do that with and of course not long after , the reissue came out, lol! *NM*
Fortunately I've got a couple of the reissues too. And all the scrap from the Terra. Now I know how I'm going to build at least one of them. Thanks for the idea. *NM*
Google Hurst Shawnee Scout will hit several good images *NM*
Tonneau etc isn’t a big concern, mainly it’s creating the later style grille/square headlight set up that back burnered it for me *NM*
Well I’ve got a leftover grill or 2 so hopefully I can get it right. They really should have used the SS grille as it’s more aggressive looking to me. *NM*
I thought I seen someone was 3-D printing different versions of the Scout grille a few weeks ago. I didn't pay much attention at the time though. *NM*
BTW, Rays Kits Decals makes the Shawnee Scout decals. *NM*
Steve, thanks for the info. I have a set on order. Much appreciated. *NM*
I just did too, steve if you see/recall who does that grille please post *NM*

Did someone say Scout! *NM* *PIC*
I really like that...got any more pics?? *NM*
Thank you, here's the engine bay, I added a "few" extras to what the kit has to offer, I had 3 of these real Scouts: *NM* *PIC*
OMG! Somebody actually put a wash in the panel lines...I can die happy now... *NM*
