The wrecker bed is a little wide and as a result makes for a bit of a distraction. Tim Ahlborn built one.....

...of course he did...and suggested narrowing the wrecker bed by 1/4". He stretched it by an inch and a half to fit a long wheelbase truck.

I'll let him chime in with the details if he sees this.
