weeks in Iceland driving around the country. It was a fun and very pretty ride. We put 3500 Kilometers on a Rav4 during that time. Then we spent a week in Reykjavik in an apartment where we managed to put almost 1,000 kilometers on a Mitsubishi cross-trek. We saw all the major tourist attractions and a lot of waterfalls. Iceland is a very beautiful country and if you have a chance you should go. (Hint, Icelandair has really good deals.) We spent about a week and a half driving to Maryland and back to South Dakota.

On August 24 we are firing up the 23 Rapid Blue Corvette HTC to join the Corvette Caravan to Bowling Green for the 30th anniversary of the National Corvette Museum. When we leave from there we will be taking a drive to Phoenix to see my wife's sister and brother-in-law and show them the new Vette, so not much time for modeling until the middle of September, then I can start on my Revell 22 Corvette kit. I'm hoping Revell will issue the HTC very soon.
